Description Our dream is to wake up in a world where every animal is treated with kindness dignity respect, and most importantly their life has been touched by love, even if only for a moment. Previously run by the City and as of November 28, 2023 A&F purchased the pound and land and is solely responsible for the care of the animals. From a high kill shelter to a true NO Kill shelter where not one single animal has died for space.

Just recently came across this place. Me and my girlfriend were looking at this beautiful palmeranian they jist had gotten, unfortunately someone was already in the process of adoption. They are friendly, a no kill shelter. They don't charge anything at all. They are very careful and strict about who they adopt and foster to. I would recommend this place. Let's keep them in operation! !!!PLEASE DONATE TO THIS WONDERFUL CAUSE!!!

A&F took the Osawatomie pound, a kill shelter, and turned it into a no-kill hope for any dog or cat that finds its way there. They have totally transformed it from a got, smell, dirty (filthy) and neglected facility into a first-class facility where dogs live in comfort, get frequent walks, have plenty of play space and medical care while they wait for their furever home. If you are looking to adopt or just want someplace to support, with your time and/or money, they are more than deserving!
