Description Beartooth Animal Hospital is a full service medical and surgical facility located at the base of the Beartooth Mountains in Red Lodge, Montana. We have a special focus on equine sports medicine and surgery, therapeutic and corrective shoeing, along with comprehensive and surgical care for small animals. We offer surgeries from equine arthroscopies all the way to canine ACL repairs all in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Here at Beartooth Animal Hospital our mission is to provide the highest quality medical and surgical care to our patients while providing our clients with education and assistance in all aspects of animal care and ownership.

Dr Barker is wonder but the frumpy pregnant girl at the front desk is rude and nasty, the technician told me the wrong way to give meds. Could have killed my dog. Not happy with how I was treated and I won't be back.

We are traveling and our pup, Precious needed some medical attention. They were so friendly and thorough with her exam. They got us in quickly. We called another vet first and they never returned our call. We highly reccomend Beartooth Animal Hospital! Wish we lived in the area so we could have them as our regular vet.

Highly Recommend! Dr Carla is the best. We were visiting from out of town and had a very sick dog. They fit him in somehow and we so compassionate with my family. They truly care, were so good to him, and called for follow up after we returned home.

What an AWESOME ANIMAL HOSPITAL. The staff is so helpful and understanding of the animal owners' worries. I felt comfortable and confident our little kitty would be treated as their own...and she was. The doctor, herself, called and then talked with me in person. Top-notch service!!!! Highly-qualified!!!! Highly recommend!!!!!

Friendly and quality care. I had to bring my dog to Beartooth Animal Hospital because of a wound on his paw. I called short notice and they agreed to see us right away, on our first visit no less. They gave me an honest opinion and recommended that we DIDN'T get stitches, which was totally correct, and kindly billed me only for minimal expense. I highly recommend these good people for animal care.
