This place is an awesome hidden gem! What a stress reliever to go in and pet a bunch of cute kittens. The volunteers here are so sweet and really do care about all these cats getting to good homes. The cats all have their own cages or share a big cage with another cat, and they lounge in the common areas if they’re on good behavior.

I can't say enough about this amazing rescue. We lost our cat at 10 years of age to IBS in early 2023 and I had a huge hole in my heart. We looked at a few rescues but didn't want a young kitten or an older cat. There are a lot of great rescues out there, but I found Forever Love easy to work with and the older kittens available fit our lifestyle and timeline. We were able to meet the foster of our two boys and asked all kinds of questions. We never felt rushed and they helped us with questions even after adopting Boots and Smudge. I highly recommend them!

5 stars will not do, this is totally a 10 star facility. The people that work here are saints to love and care for all Gods babies looking for a home. We adopted our 3rd baby from here. They are safe, warm, loved and fed. The paperwork process is a little slow but thorough. The people there OUTSTANDING.Vicki,Anna, Maria. Please adopt, donate and pray for them all. Ty

The folks that work tirelessly here on behalf of the cat population are warriors. They truly are angels walking on earth. The cats in their care are well looked after. Fed, vetted, safe until found secure homes. Anyone says differently has an ax to grind & you should consider the source. I donate regularly here & know that the money goes to caring for the throw-aways from far too many people. Forever Love rocks! ❤️❤️❤️

Visited while in Gettysburg and they seem like they are overwhelmingly over populated with about 20 to 30 cats too many and from what I could see they do not have enough staff or volunteers. I've never been to another animal adoption/rescue center that smelt so bad. If you really want to help those cats, take care of that putrid urine smell (it was burning our eyes). If it's that strong to us, I can't imagine what the cats smell. My wife and daughter love cats, and even they said they couldn't be in there long enough actually try and bond with one of the cats. Maybe we will try on a later date, but if it smell hasn't changed, we will be the ones who open the door and immediately close it and turn around and walk away.
