After my vet closed unexpectedly, my first visit to Danvers Animal Hospital was to say goodbye to my first dog. 😢 Dr. Eileen and staff were amazing and we have been bringing our other dog and now our new puppy there ever since. 100% recommend!

Dr. Eileen was amazing! We came in knowing we had to put our baby girl down. She was compassionate and understanding. She was very comforting and made us feel better for having to make such a hard decision. I highly recommend them for your pet baby needs.

Can’t say enough good things about Danvers Animal Hospital. We drive 45 minutes out of our way to DAH because of the exceptional level of care and customer service. We’ve had 3 dogs in their care, two through end of life and one current. We’ve seen multiple vets and vet techs and have had zero bad encounters. We tried a vet closer to us and after 2 appointments went right back to DAH. A special shout out to Dr. McGinley who treated our two end-of-life dogs like they were members of her extended family, to Dr. Marquardt who treated me with the utmost respect and care while making some of the most difficult decisions about their care, and to the entire front desk staff who are the pinnacle of grace, compassion, and professionalism. You’ll never feel like you’re being sold anything or pushed in any direction of care. They take the time to talk you through every option and, while they’ll make recommendations, they understand that you know your pets the best. The office itself is comfortable and clean, the property is pet friendly without being unkempt. If you want the highest standard of care for your pet, 11/10 I would recommend Danvers Animal Hospital.

Superb staff and doc were very very knowledgeable, and gave us all the time to listen about our concerns with our GSD Isabella. She is recovering beautifully and smiling a lot. Thank you for making our decision easy about finding the perfect MD for our vet needs. Danvers Vet rocks!

I was able to make a same day appointment and the team and the doctor were amazing. Very helpful and patient. My dog is ok and resting peacefully - great experience!!!

I already have a mobile vet and needed a surgical vet to consult with, so i went online searching. I chose Danvers Animal Hospital because of the # of positive reviews & proximity to where I live. I met with Dr Jessica Michalek. I knew I was in good hands when she sat on the floor with my dog. She was honest, in a caring & kind way, delivering the bad news about my dog's growths on his gum. She handed me the tissues & explained my options, answering what she could and offering a range of treatments. We spoke openly, she was very empathetic & comforting. She did not push anything on me, but listened & confirmed what I already knew & what I wanted for my dear companion, Mac. I highly recommend Dr Michalek....Mac's mom
