Red Bank is amazing! All staff and doctors are on top of everything at all times! My GSD Berlin was transferred from another facility to Red Bank after a few days of us figuring out a plan for my dog since she ingested a foreign material. Since scoping/surgery was two of our main options we transferred her to red bank since they always have those specialists on staff. My dog was transferred Tuesday morning, I was given the options of scoping my dog to try to remove the material or to skip that and go to surgery. Scoping would have been risky and possibly unsuccessful due to food in my dogs stomach so I decided to go with surgery. My dog was taken to surgery Tuesday afternoon and brought home Wednesday afternoon. I got updates throughout her stay and all my questions answered with confidence. All the doctors I’ve spoken with were so caring and helped me make a really hard decision. They had my dogs care as main priority and reassured me I was doing the best thing for Berlin. Everyone helped me get through this tough situation and eased a lot of my worries. I’m extremely grateful for everyone at Red Bank for taking care of Berlin. Thank you to everyone who helped Berlin and I through this hard time. Thanks to all of you Berlin is safe and recovering!

April 29 2024, we took our fur baby Jacob to the hospital because he was not doing well as a diabetic cat. Over the weekend he stopped eating and drinking. He was looking really really bad. Our family decided to euthanize because he was barely breathing. When we came to the facility, the care and the urgency that met us at the front desk was second to none. Whilst attending to my fur baby he passed away. The care, the compassion, the tenderness the love that was shown to us was beyond anything I have ever experienced seeing that Jacob was our first pet . Dr Barber was very kind and compassionate with us. My family and I would like to thank all that was involved with Jacob as we came in. May GOD bless and keep all of you as you continue to care for his precious animals. The Joseph Family ☺️

Everyone was friendly and my puppy was seen very quickly. Dr. Dev was very patient with all my questions and gave me an update on how Willow was doing while she waited in the back for testing. Willow was treated so gently and everyone was kind and loving 💕

My foster dog Georgie has been attending rehabilitation at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital for almost two months now. As a paralyzed dog, his journey has been challenging, but the team at Red Bank has gone above and beyond in their care. Dr. Magilton, technician Ashley, and the entire team have shown immense compassion and dedication. They have not only provided top-notch rehabilitation care but have also taken the time to educate me on how to properly care for Georgie. They have equipped me with exercises to maintain his muscle health, ensuring his continued progress. I feel incredibly grateful to have witnessed Georgie's growth during his time at Red Bank. The support and expertise offered by the team have made this new journey with a paralyzed dog much more manageable and hopeful. Their commitment to providing the best possible care is truly commendable.

Soulless, my macaw has had positive compsionate care in the past from this hospital. A few days ago I was in the emergency department with my guinea pig that had broken her leg. They brought her right in and after evaluating her came out and gave me an update. I had about $1200 available for care and that is were the issues began. Care was going to be about $2000, having a macaw (daisy) at home that needs blood work every 6 months due to her medical condition and the medication she takes, I was doing math in my head to to see how I can care for both. My main concern was that Simon (guinea pig) was not in pain and long term complications. I explained my situation and then started to feel like I was at a car dealership or a cult, i was told to apply for scratch and an employee sat in the room with me while I applied. The doctor would pop her head in a couple times to see if I had the funds yet and said she would wait to give me an update til the funds where approved. Scratch required me to call from my home land line because that was the number associated with my credit score. I understand that care is expensive but felt it wasn't about Simon but about the money they could get. I don't know if it is the new building but in the past when you walked in you could feel the compassion now it feels like a soulless corporation. I was there for about 8 hours and I saw employees standing around openly gossiping, employees making faces at other employees behind their back. The last straw for me was yesterday they called to see how Simon was doing and they weren't even listening and really did not care. RESPONSE TO RESPONSE: The fact that the response from RBVH did not even bother to use Simon's name when it is even stated in the review says more then I ever could! UPDATE: I spoke with the hospital's liaison and in my opion she was abrasive and defensive. Please read the responses that contain critical feedback, they say it very nicely but basically if you are on a budget we will not care about your loved furry/ feathered family member. Once again soulless corporation, very sad and uncaring. Please due not assume, even if you are a current client getting compassionate care, that they will care in an emergency. After speaking with the hospital it is very clear money (and not imconsequential amounts) is the first priority.

We brought our dachshund, Mala in for a back pain evaluation with Dr. Glass, Neurologist. From The moment we met him, we knew she was in the best hands. He was kind, knowledgeable, compassionate, and made us feel like she was in the safest place possible. We obviously had many questions and concerns. Dr. Glass patiently answered everything in ways that we could understand without talking down to us or making us feel uncomfortable. It was obvious that he just wanted to help our Mala get better. She was kept overnight and had an MRI the next morning. Dr. Glass called me with the results and did not recommend surgery as he felt that what he found on the MRI indicated that Mala would do best resting at home with new medications. She's already feeling better on her new regimen. Dr. Glass will also be giving her a recheck in a few weeks to check her progress. Having 4 dachshunds in our home, I can tell you with all certainty, if anyone else has any back, neck or neurological issues, we will not hesitate to see Dr. Glass. He's a one in a million. Thank you!!
