Adopted a new little guy to be a friend for our Erebus. Eros (Cupid formerly Rys.) is SUPER SWEET and cuddly. A little love bug for sure! To the young ladies that assisted us that day, thank you. I want you to know Eros is doing well and is very much loved by our family.

Visited this shelter to adopt a cat. I was very pleased with how the staff member was able to tell my girlfriend and I the cats names, what they liked, favorite napping positions and all. That goes along way with how the animals are treated compared to other facilities in nearby towns. We ended up adopting a female cat “Bella”, and couldn’t be more happy. In fact, so happy I’m going back tomorrow to get another cat I can’t stop thinking about. Place is amazing! Staff definitely gets to know each of the animals before they are adopted or well, ya know…. Clean, very friendly, organized and definitely a great environment compared to other shelters we visited.

I went here for two kittens. They both ended up having ringworm and both ears FULL of ear mites. Infuriating that I had to pay a large adoption fee for kittens that me and my children have to have quarantined for two weeks and I as a single mother had to take off work for a week to fully decontaminate my house and children and pay $500 for the vet and treatment... I would never recommend this shelter. Those kittens were not taken care of. I would have gotten free kittens off of craigslist but I thought a shelter would be sure to have well looked after kittens.

Saw a couple of kittens on PetFinder, and saw that they were in the shelter in Joshua. Sent a message to the contact (Kelley G.) and almost immediately received a reply. When I returned from vacation, my wife and I drove up (about a 2 hour trip), and Kelley had a pair of litter mates for us to look at. She offered to let us look at all of their other kitties, but my wife had already fallen in love ❤️. Kelley microchipped our babies, went over their care records, and answered all of our questions before we took them home. Thanks, Kelley!

We recently lost our dog and she was turned into the shelter. The amazing ladies at the shelter went way above and beyond to take care of her until we could get there to pick her up. They truly care about the animals and show a genuine love for them. I would never expect an animal shelter to be so clean, animals so well cared for, and employees who are so professional and compassionate about the animals! It made an unpleasant experience very positive in the end. Thank you!
