We welcome dogs and cats as well as birds, rabbits, and pocket pets. As a full-service animal hospital, we have the knowledge and experience to handle nearly all cases. We’re also the only clinic in the city that offers ultrasounds. We provide pet wellness care, pet surgical services, pet ultrasound diagnostics, laboratory testing, pet preventative health services, euthanasia, pet boarding, pet grooming and more for pets in Pittsburg, Frontenac, Arma, Girard, Cherokee, Radley, Atlas, Yale and the surrounding areas.

The best vet in town! Both of our dogs love Dr. Clark. He is thorough and takes the time to listen to concerns. Our dogs were anxious with other vets in the past, but are excited to walk in to the vet now!

Through the best of times & the worst of times with my non-human family, I have always been able to count on Dr. Clark & his staff. I owe having many extra years with several of them to Dr. Clark. He & his staff are talented, compassionate, & efficient. I can’t thank them enough.

Took our dog Bentley to the groomer here today. When we got there the gal walking him back said “same as last time?” I said yes. We were just there in January. I then pick Bentley up and he is completely shaved…. In the dead of winter. I let them know that I had meant for him to get a sanitary cut and a bath not completely shaved. They said that they do not document bath + sanitary cuts, only “full grooms”. Obviously a miscommunication. Dr Clark gets on the phone and I let him know I was unhappy that my predominantly outside dog was completely shaved in February. He was going over the logistics of their computer system and specific grooming terminology trying to find out where things got messed up. He then offered $25 off of my next grooming. I said that I had just paid over $100 and my dog was supposed to get a bath and he is now shaved. He said he has to pay his groomer and buy shampoo and he can’t just give me my money back. Then he said giving me my money back is not going to make my dog any warmer. I’m so surprised by all of this. Customer service completely out the window. Apparently this is how their business works: They don’t document baths + sanitary cuts -my fault I didn’t know this They said same as last time- my fault I didn’t know that meant last “full groom” in sept not when I was just here in January When a customer is upset by a service being done incorrectly due to a miscommunication it is the customers fault for the miscommunication not the staffs I was told if I wanted a refund then I would have to find a different groomer. This is obviously not the groomers fault. It’s a communication issue within this vet office.

I brought Bear in for grooming, and a nail trim, and I love how they cut his hair. I always receive good customer service, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Attached are “before and after” pictures. Love it!

Had such a great experience getting my mini goldendoodle indie groomed here! I was so nervous as she is only 8 months old and this was her first official groom but they did a great job! I am so happy with them and the price was also so reasonable! Here's a before and after!
