As a manager of a NY animal shelter, we've dealt with several amazing rescues. Save our setters, takes the cake! Compassion, dedication, respectfulness, knowledge and a very open and appreciative group of dog lovers ready and willing to do whatever it takes for a dog to be able to regain the quality of life they deserve. They were thorough and amazing to deal with from start to finish. I am thankful to have had this recent experience and am beyond impressed with the running and organization of SOS rescue.

Ridiculous organization. With their thorough vetting, I had everything they were looking for. Stellar references, healthy current pets, spacious home, pet friendly walking trail & financially more than able to pay for all aspects of pet care. I was denied??? Because the humane society my current pets were adopted from do not keep records long enough? Outrageous! Meanwhile my Vet approval as a responsible pet owner was NOT GOOD ENOUGH????!?!?
