Unfortunately, we lost one of our two yellow labs the day after Mother’s Day and our youngest lab was devastated. We decided to check out the animal shelter and the staff was amazing! They introduced us to Kiki (now Kai), a one year old black female lab. We brought Skeeter in to meet her and fell in love! She now has a forever home and Skeeter has a little sister he adores! Thank you so very much Joe, Walter, Andrea, Patty, Joann and Mr. Melchor! You’re all awesome and we truly appreciate you all!

Helping a neighbor find a new dog to share her home with we had reason to visit the Mesquite Animal Shelter. I dont recall the officers name but I think he was in charge. He was professional the shelter was absolutely clean and neat. It's not often I'm impressed enough to write a review. This shelter as well as the staff is exceptional.

Caretakers here take very good care of all the pets. Due to a cross-country move we had to give up two of our three cats, but I knew my boys were going into good hands and their lives were going to be a lot better.
