Description DVACK's mission is to reduce the incidents of domestic violence and sexual offenses and to provide comfort and support to victims through crisis intervention and support services in North-Central Kansas. DVACK provides FREE, VOLUNTARY & CONFIDENTIAL support services to primary and secondary survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, teen dating violence, elder abuse & human trafficking. We proudly serve Cloud, Dickinson, Ellsworth, Jewell, Lincoln, Mitchell, Ottawa, Republic, Saline & Washington Counties. My personal experience is I believe it's a great place after working with Pawnee mental health facilities in north central ks It's important for people to have a safe place to go if they don't feel safe I will say something that will probably offend Alot of people although The Shelter provides safe living but I also know that they continue to make the other person that is not there out to be something they truly Are not when someone walks away and abandons a totally helpless adult after 18 years because they have ad disagreement when the person is totally unable to hurt this person that he cared for when she was diagnosed with ALS and provided for her and then abandons him while waiting to have hip replacement surgery and can be back providing for her and a disagreement happens and leaves with no one to help him and they have portrayed him as a villain is not how this should work they should offer alternative measures maybe to get them together after 18years of marriage not try to force them apart to hate each other marriage is sacred not just a piece of paper help them don't make them hate more!!

The lady in the office said um um um um um um um um ( you get my point) and honestly didn't even know what she was doing!!! Didn't even get any info and had to call me back after she had to call her supervisor! And recommended i go to 2 other places that were even further away from us... told her straight up my abuser is on his way to Kansas . I have documented proof of his abuse..but they said just go to the halfway house.i don't need their services.

This is the best place to go to. They helped me deal with my ex multiple times. They have a large amount of resources and are very kind, welcoming, and protective.
