If I could give more stars, I would. Excellent training and boarding facility for our German Shepherds. Mo and trainers are so personable and excited for our girls every time we drop them off. Getting a report card each day is something I really look forward to when we leave her for boarding and training. They get dogs, they understand their psychology, and they are able to give owners the tools to be able to continue to help their dogs. Bringing your dog here will help you both. Love Pawsitive Canine Academy and so do my girls! Dianna, Gypsy and Gemma

This is by far the most caring, honest business. You can’t go wrong bringing your dogs to Pawsitive canine academy. I have had the opportunity of bringing my dog Hallie here when she was a puppy for day school. She loved it and the staff were awesome. I have also purchased a puppy from Monique and have had nothing but good things to say with him and his specialized training. She is the ONLY place I trust my dogs with. Her team is honest and they will do everything in there power to help you and your pet in anything you need. They are very knowledgeable in many areas and are professional.

Our dog was in training here twice a week since 12 weeks old. We boarded her for a week while on vacation and picked her up from boarding with a lame paw due to a soft tissue sprain. When we picked her up they said they had just noticed it that morning. Claimed they had no idea how it happened. Owner never checked in on her after the fact. We took her in for an x ray immediately and it was confirmed that she had a bad sprain and was to be off of it as much as possible for two weeks. She could not bear any weight on her paw. Not only that but she seemed to be in a lot of stress and her demeanor was very scared and not like herself at all. I checked in on my dog while on vacation and didn’t receive a response for two days and the response we got was that they put her with an aggressive dog because our dog is very confident. In the past they would put a mama dog with her to help her over confidence. Never have we given permission for them to put OUR NINE MONTH OLD PUPPY with an aggressive dog. Is this how she got hurt? How long was she hurt for before we picked her up? We asked them if they wanted to pay for her vet bill Monique said she wanted to see the results. We were advised legally that because we signed a liability waiver that we were liable to pay. Monique said they had her vet look at her on Wednesday because she had a goopy eye, she forgot that we are friends with the vet and she said she was there that day but never saw our dog. Monique flat out lied. They should have done the right thing if a dog gets hurt while under their care they will wait for you to pick them up and get them checked out yourself. After all you are liable after you sign that paper. Be warned that if you pay for training during the summer they take all their good crew to Seattle so you will get their worst trainers. They say that with the training packages you purchase you can come to the owner and puppy training classes in the evening however they never actually hold those classes so you never get a chance to do training actually with your dog. Latanya the puppy trainer was amazing so if you get her you’re lucky however she is not there a lot. Latanya if you see this thank you for all you taught her and we are keeping it up at home. Nobody else knows what’s going on. You will wait in your car and have to text and call for someone to greet you and get your dog so I hope you’re not on your way to work. The owner bad mouths every dog owner and neighbor. We had her come do an in home visit when we first got our puppy, she spent less then 5 minutes with her said she was over stimulated and sat in our house telling us about her life and bad mouthing people and the charged us for an hour. People are coming out of the wood works sharing their bad experiences with Monique after hearing about ours. I’m sure they will dispute this with a comment but our dog was injured in her care and they acted like they had no idea until just minutes before we got there. Hey Monique do you really think it’s a good idea to put a puppy with an aggressive dog without owner permission? You’re a con woman who doesn’t actually care about the dogs just the check. Thanks for checking in on Royal. You could have handled things better, this is really too bad.

Monique is awesome! So far so good. Introductions with my dad’s dogs is going well. Structured, and organized.

I do not have the words to express how grateful I am for Monique and the crew at Pawsitive Canine Academy. Our young female Lab went for puppy classes where we both learned so much!!! All of the trainers really want the best for you and your pups and it shows in every interaction I've had. Both of my year and a half old Labs have been attending Doggy Day School for several months where they continue to improve on their skills and get to play with all their friends. Most recently I was able to attend the pack walk with dozens of dogs, owners, and the trainers and it was an amazing testament to the level of training Pawsitive Canine Academy provides. The dogs were well behaved and the trainers were available to answer any questions or provide additional training. I cannot recommend them more! If you have a dog that needs behavior corrections, basic training or just a brush up on skills, please give them a call. You will not be disappointed with the results!!

We have two aussies enrolled in Day School. Before Latanya and crew started working with them, a walk was a stressful experience. Not only have we made amazing progress with that, we have also learned how to exercise their brains and all of us have learned new skills and manners. The pups know it’s a school day when the alarm goes off and they are EXCITED to go. If you are like us, it’s hard to know who you can trust with your pets. You can trust them. They are truly wonderful people who will love and teach your dog and you will find the curriculum and the facility to be impressive. Could not recommend Pawsitive Canine highly enough. We might start teaching our two some new bad habits just so we have an excuse to keep them enrolled. We are beyond grateful for this place.
