My senior cat was in pain and having trouble w his teeth. I brought in for Dr Bassett to evaluate and scheduled with the surgeon with Dr Stack-Aguirre. After 3 days post surgery I see the difference in Otis for the good. Now when he meows for some need as cats do, I see his pearly whites and no longer the bad 4 teeth he had extracted. He is very happy! Thank you to doctors and staff. The only problem he had was my 2 female cats didn't recognize his smell. They hissed and were very mean to him. He's like WTH did I do, I just had dental work. So l brushed him with his usual brush to bring back his scent and sprayed some pheromone spray, all is good now.

Dr. Basset is very good at her work. Her passion for your animals health shows in her attention to detail, and her obvious expertise gave me a very confident outlook on the quality of care that our cat Pearl would receive. I just gotta say that I was totally blown away at how quick and easy her and her assistant wrangled our very, very scary when being examined or touched in any type of way fur baby. Usually, she is sassy, but it is likely she could claw your face off for trying to administer to her a shot or something like that.... in 1 clean motion, they scooped Pearl out of my reluctant girlfriends lap with a towel, wrapping her tight and placing her on the table for maybe 1 second and.......BAM!! Shot over. Two weeks of antibiotics were done that we didn't need to try to give her ourselves daily. A follow-up appointment is scheduled for her blood panel to be done at that time. Of course, with some pills to give her the night before to help her be a zombie for the visit to take her blood because we all already know she ain't gon be having it!! But seeing them in action, I know that they can handle our sweet Pearl. She's got her sweet 16th birthday in a month, and she can't wait to feel tip top for the party!!

Amazing as usual. I live in SLO now and will keep going here because they love my Calypso and help keep her healthy. This is also the only Vet clinic Calypso loves going to.

This is an excellent clinic. My beloved cat receives excellent, compassionate care here. His vet, Dr. Bessett is fantastic, and the staff here are so kind.

I have been taking my beloved fur kids, both dogs and cats, to Coast Vet for 40 years. In all that time, my animals have always received excellent care, and I have never had a complaint of any kind. A few months ago, Dr. Stack-Aguirre diagnosed my sweet little Anna, a 13-year-old Maltese, with mast cell carcinoma. Last month she experienced a sudden medical emergency, and Dr. Stack-Aguirre said to bring her right in. He and his wonderful staff spent the day stabilizing her. I was able to take her home that night to cuddle her and love her. The next day Dr. Stack-Aguirre called to check on us. He was very informative, helpful and understanding. I made the extremely difficult and heartbreaking decision to put her down, to spare her any more suffering. I can't express how hard this was, and I don't know how I could have gotten through it without the emotional, as well as professional, support of Dr. Stack-Aguirre and staff. They were all very gentle and caring with Anna, and with me. I wish I could give them 100 stars.

Smart man. So worth the drive from SLO where the vets overcharge for everything. Very reasonable prices. Ethical doctors are hard to come by. Highly recommend Dr.Stack-Aguirre. Good job guys. Saw the other review about this place running on a high budget and wondering if she got it mixed up with another veterinary office.
