I highly recommend Boston Hedgehogs! My husband and I picked up our little boy Usher (now Miki) from them 3 weeks ago after being on their waiting list for a few months. He is such a well-socialized, outgoing, and sweet boy - he has stolen the heart of everyone he’s met. The vet was even surprised by how easy he was to work with at his first wellness / establishing care visit this weekend. He’s a happy, healthy, adorable, sweet boy - everything we could have hoped for and more. Rachel was super helpful throughout the entire process of signing up for their waiting list, getting everything we needed ready for our little boy, and choosing him / bringing him home. She was available for any questions I had and made great recommendations and has gone out of her way to check in on our little boy since bringing him home. The entire experience has just been completely amazing and we will never even think about looking elsewhere if we ever get a second hedgie!

Very highly recommended! The whole adoption process went very smoothly, and Rachel was an enormously patient help throughout it all. I've had Winter (formerly Uriyah) for about 5 months now and she's been an absolute delight.

Rachel is awesome! She was so responsive and helpful in my search and choosing of a baby hedgehog. I had many, many questions and she never failed to respond and help me the best they could! Pick up and purchase was very easy and all of the materials they provided were perfect. If you are interested in having a hedgehog as a pet, Boston Hedgehogs is the place to go!

We were so happy with our experience at Boston Hedgehogs. Rachel was wonderful to work with, answered all of our questions, was quick with replies, and helped us make our son's dream of owning a hedgehog come true. And having the ability to purchase cage and heating kits at the same time made the whole process easy and stress free. Rachel is so helpful and friendly, and she is responsive and flexible. I had an amazing experience working with her. When it comes to choosing a breeder, it’s important that you choose a reputable breeder that will guarantee the health and well-being of your hedgehog. Boston Hedgehogs is a reliable and trustworthy breeder and I wouldn’t have chosen another breeder to adopt a baby hedgehog. Getting a hedgehog that is socialized as a baby is a helpful start to bonding with your hedgehog, and I could immediately tell that he has been handled properly by the breeder. My hoglet is healthy and doing well now, and I’m having a great time with him. Looking forward to using their boarding services in the future!

Boston Hedgehogs provides amazing care for their hedgies and just as much support for the new owners adopting! Rachel is so kind and informative with answering any questions you may have prior to during and even after adopting, all in a very timely manner! They ensure every new owner is equipped with all of the right right knowledge and supplies that are needed to bring home a new baby, including a little take home package to help new owners transition smoothly. I could not recommend them enough if you’re looking to begin this exciting journey!
