The staff at Coyne in Portage are genuinely good, loving people. They truly care about you and your pet. From the vets, grooming and boarding I have never had a bad experience. My dog, Rusty, goes in wagging his tale and leaves wagging his tale. Thank you, Coyne!

I have mixed feelings on this place. My wife and I boarded our dog here for a week and it seems like she really enjoyed the day care while boarding. The down side is when we picked her up one of her eyes was red and she has since started oozing stuff like pus. Taking her to Hobart animal clinic tomorrow to get her looked at. Could just be bad luck, but doubtful we will be back.

I live in Portage, my previous dog and current puppy are served by Crown Point Coyne but my senior cat was getting service by Portage Coyne. As far as the quality of service, Crown Point is way better than Portage. My cat recently passed away, had questions that they could not answer. They gave me a sticky note and told me that I could contact Faithful Companion myself. The difference in service was that last year I had my dog cremated and returned to me. CP Coyne had better presentation all together. I received beautiful paw print w/poem along with a dog’s ashes in wooden box that faithful companions did but also sympathy card signed by most of the staff in the office. The only thing Portage gave me for cat was the paw print the very next day which was nicely done by Faithful Companion (except the kit they use could be ordered right off Amazon cheaper), but I didn’t get a sympathy card from them or anything. I just feel like Portage Coyne could step up their game and do better when it comes to the loss of a pet. Even with the previous app and this brand new app, they don’t respond to messages/email quickly. The convenience, availability, reliability, patience, empathy, and compassion, I just feel like was better for me and my experiences in Crown Point then compared to Portage.

Very accommodating and vet/techs are always positive and playful with my dog. I'm glad they were able to see us as a walk-in when only taking appts. However, that info could be more readily available when I walked in as I wasn't informed until waiting a little while. Still great all-around which is why we keep coming back.

I cannot recommend this place enough. The Dr is amazing, kind hearted & all around a wonderful person. My grams dog was seriously hurt after getting out of our yard & they helped us in our desperate time of need. Very informative, very understanding & non judgmental. This visit may have been a first, but we will be back with all the dogs. I have found a place that loves my animals as much as I do. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Coyne!

Very caring with our senior dog who had a dental procedure. Made sure to keep me updated and informed with his progress throughout the day. Helped calm my anxiety since they had to put him under. When we picked him up they were very thorough explaining what was done and explained his meds he needs to take. Also, didn’t cost as much as we thought which is always a plus! Love the staff, everyone is super nice.
