We had lost our beloved family dogs in 2011.We were heartbroken. My daughter found our beautiful dogs we have now on Pet Finder and it led us to Rescue ME Clifford. Wonderful people and I was very pleased they checked all of our references. We have had our 2 Rescue ME Clifford dogs since 2011 and they are our pride of the family! Highly recommend the process! Everyone was very kind and communication was excellent!

Cannot recommend this rescue enough!! I filled out an application, and heard back from them very quickly that we'd been chosen to adopt a puppy. I drove to IL with my older dog, and we picked up "Raphaela". She has been a great addition to our family, and we could not be happier!!! We have been in contact with them since adopting her 5 months ago, and they've always been caring, wanted to see updated pictures, etc. I would not hesitate to adopt from them again. The couple of negative reviews are from people that are upset that they couldn't adopt one of the animals, and I understand the disappointment. I would say - keep trying. Not all animals are suitable for all households. Ours was returned by another family for problems that I have yet to see in our pup.

My girlfriend applied to adopt a dog from your facility beginning of September. She expressed interest in a dog you had posted, followed up with your staff to be told that the dog in question was being held for another client who was in the hospital. My girlfriend waited a few days then saw you post the same dog again online as available, she emailed you to inquire about moving forward with a visitation. Now she is at home crying because your staff emailed her and said she is not the right person to adopt the dog. I’m upset because she felt insulted, I’m trying to convince her to adopt elsewhere, how dare you tell someone their not fit or the right person to adopt a dog when you have not even met them in person, I read the email over and over and it did come off as an insult. We have the means to provide a great home to an animal in need, however your lack of respect and proper communication with your applicants has shed light that maybe your shelter is not a friendly place to go to adopt, thank you for making a wonderful woman feel like she was not good enough to help find your animals a new forever home!

Adopted a beautiful puppy from RMC and they were great. They have their program in order: Vet visits documented, contract and paperwork done, microchip registration pre-paid with AKC. Very nice people who obviously love these animals. Highly recommended.

Rescue Me Clifford is an amazing rescue for dogs with awesome volunteers and foster parents that are very helpful in finding the perfect pet for the most loving furever home! I am sp grateful for them saving my Benny aka Bayne! 🙏🐾🥰❤
