I LOVE THIS PLACE! They are super organized and all the staff are friendly. They helped us get our cats, Mittens and Fruity Pebbles (aka - Cricket). Mittens had been there for 6 months, probably because he’s misunderstood and hisses and growls a lot at new people. His picture is still on the door by the cat area at the shelter. It only took him a week and he was snuggling on my lap. I will definitely be adopting from there again. Thanks!

Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful place to adopt your forever furry friend ♥️ Gorgeous animals that they take care of so soo well. The team is always very knowledgeable & friendly & helpful. Please check out the humane society before buying from a breeder as there are so many homeless animals that need a loving family & I definitely recommend this place!!

We found a guinea pig on the website that was just right for our home. At 2 pm on Thursday, I filled in the application online. I was notified that our application was accepted at 10 am on Friday, and our new pet was home by 2 pm on Friday - much to my child's delight.

Do not recommend working there unless the girl that trained me leaves. The training is horrible, after one day the woman training me left me to basically fend for myself and when I needed her I literally could not find her anywhere. She acted like I was supposed to know everything even though they don't require experience. I was extremely disappointed I was looking forward to the job just to literally last two days. She said to only care about how the front dogs kennels look because that's "what people see" meaning 90% of the time the dogs in the other room and fecal and urine all in the kennels. She let the dogs out for literally 30 seconds unless she was talking to someone else but at that she stood in one spot. She got extremely annoyed that she had to still work with me on my second day making a comment that I can do feed dogs and give them their medication on my own just because I got everything set up so she didn't have to waste her time doing it. She was also throwing me around to everyone else and making me do laundry which yes is apart of the job but there was volunteers also doing it so I could've been getting taught something else in the meantime. Jessie and other staff was extremely nice and friendly and when I worked with them I loved it and it seemed like the animal caregivers actually cared about the animals because they look their time with them and gave them attention. I definitely would have stayed if that girl was not working there or training me.

Very nice. Just looking during last visit and about 8 cats were adopted out. Not exaggerating. Facilities were spotless!

Enjoyed the festival of trees for the first time and got to see the new building. The music was wonderful and the trees were beautiful! Wonderful to see the community come together for a great cause. So blessed to have adopted our cat Barbara from WCHS in 2020!
