Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We went to do a meet and greet with a dog and they were so helpful. When things didn't work out they notified me of another pup that the owner was trying to re-home.

My husband and I found a dog running, frightened in the road, Idaho 51 north of the Snake River; they did take the dog. It seems like a good organization helping animals, we certainly are thankful that they took the dog. I called this morning to ask about the dog and a woman said that the owner was coming for the dog and I am thankful.

These are good folks doing a hard job. They've helped me a few times with dog food in the past couple years. They went above and beyond, one day, when they helped me find a new home for my Sariah on very short notice. It broke my heart to pieces, losing her because I had no place to keep her at the time, but this place and these people made sure she went to a good home.

Why have an animal shelter/animal control if no one is ever there or if no one can do anything? Make sure when you hire people, that they have all of the information that they will need for situations. Also, don’t give out numbers to places that you say can help but won’t come to mountain home because it’s not in their area(too far out), it’s pointless information.
