For all those that work or volunteer at SCHS, Thank You! I recently adopted one of the 4 legged blessings and the staff could not have been more nice. Everyone I spoke with was kind, knowledgeable and made my experience even better than I could have imagined. What everyone does there is just unbelievable to me. Caring for those animals with limited resources or funding… yet still having the attitude they have is something special! I simply can’t give them enough stars to show my appreciation. If you are looking to adopt, I highly encourage you to look into adopting from Shelby County. They are truly amazing at what they do and to each of them there, THANK YOU!

Righteous Indignation

The people that work at the Humane Society in Columbiana are truly remarkable. Over the past few months I've had neighbors move out in abandoned cats. I've brought in more cats I can handle. Trying to find homes for them has been very difficult. Occasionally I take some to the humane society for adoption. They've been very kind and understanding. They have truly been a blessing. I have been overwhelmed by the amount of cats that have been left by inhumane people. I can't thank all the people helping at the humane society enough. They are angels.

I highly recommend getting your next furry friend from here. They always have so many animals that need help, and they will cover the cost for most common shots, heartworm treatment and spay/neuter surgery! Just got two of their babies, a two month old kitten and a five year old dog. Some of the best and sweetest animals I've seen in a long time. If you can't have animals, please consider donating blankets, bags of food or money to help this amazing cause.
