Took a kitten to them I found abandoned was told repeatedly because they were sick they were just gonna euthanize them and even though it wasn’t my cat was forced to pay for it to be left there because I had no other choice but to leave them and they kept making us feel horrible for not being able to keep it

Was told some things I didn't understand, and I will never go back there; and don't recommend this place to anyone in Douglas, GA.; or surrounding areas!

Was told one thing on phone and totally different things when I got there. I took a young stray dog to them as I have many animals now. Instead of them offering to find it a home they were going to put it down right away. I told them no and carried it back home. I would not send my worst enemy to this place.

I was not happy with my visit my neighbor left a kitten in the road. I can not keep the kitten so I took it to the shelter to save him and the lady at the front desk stated the he had an respiratory infection and said it was contagious I said don't you have a doctor and she said not right now where I am from we don't kill kitten for being sick and homeless Shame on you for being heartless and cruel I have been in douglas for 6 weeks and this place made me not want to stay in douglas anymore every living thing deserves a chance

They didn't try to help me at all. And made up excuses why they couldn't take the animal that I found. Not a good place.

The best animal experience to truly adopt any precious animal that comes through their doors. I was able to find my perfect match on a sweet beautiful kitten. It was simple, fast, and easy! They make it so easy to view them on their web page and the adoption phase literally took less than 5 minutes and she was mine. They stayed in contact with me to see how my furbaby was doing coming to a new home and interacting being in a new place. I will definitely consider adopting again in the future from this shelter!
