Description "Practicing's Veterinary Medicine from the HEART"
I cannot express my gratitude enough to the veterinary team at Loxahatchee groves Veterinary Clinic. When my dog Pandora developed Pyometra, Dr. Y and her staff stepped in and performed life-saving surgery on short notice. Their swift action, expertise, and genuine care saved Pandora's life. Not only that, but they provided exceptional care at a reasonable price, which eased the burden during a stressful time. I highly recommend Loxahatchee Groves Veterinary Clinic to any pet owner in need of compassionate and professional veterinary care. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you've done for Pandora and our family!
This Dr saved my dogs life and it was at a fraction of the cost of what several other places were charging me. If it wasn't for Dr. Y and her team my dog Figgy would have died. She preformed the emergency surgery and kept me updated on his status. She gave him personalized care even overnight and was very responsive with any questions I had. She will now be my new Vet going forward. My family and I truly cannot be more grateful for her service. She has a deep love for animals, which is transparent through her level of effort and work.
I have been with this office for years and today I had an emergency with my cat. The woman answering the phone was rude when I made my appointment, I called earlier and she never listened to my message. My cat got away and I was not able to get him on time for the appointment. So I had to cancel. The woman on the phone was rude and uncaring again. I have never been treated like this from Dr. Y's office, she is a super kind and caring vet, I am surprised she has someone in her office like this. She would not fit me in again until Monday at 4, my cat has an open wound which I told her a few times. I just tried to call back the neighbor helped me and I was hung up on after the phone ringing over and over. I was missing the heart of Loxahatchee Groves and am forced to take my cat elsewhere today. I asked for another appointment and got Monday at 4, it is Saturday at 11:30 right now. I asked if I could pick up a few antibiotics and she said flat NO didnt ask the vet, due to the nature of this wound I would expect that antibiotics or at least her going to the vet to ask would be in order. SO DISAPPOINTED AND UPSET!
I cannot recommend The Loxahatchee Groves Veterinary Clinic enough! I had one of the best experiences with the doctor and staff with my French Bulldog, Oreo. Whether it was just a routine check up or when my dog suffered an emergency and we didn't know what was going on; the doctor showed us great compassion, professionalism, and genuine care for Oreo. The doctor shows true dedication to every animal that walks into the clinic. Not only that, but she took the time to thoroughly explain my pet's condition and treatment options every time I went with Oreo. She ensured that I felt informed every step of the way and her genuine concern for my pet's health and comfort was incredibly reassuring. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this The Loxahatchee Groves Veterinary Clinic for any animal owners looking for a veterinarian. Their commitment to excellence sets them apart, and I am forever grateful for the exceptional care they provide.
This was the most traumatic experience of my life that could have been avoided if the receptionist or any employee had an ounce of empathy. 1. My home vet clinic did not have availability to take my dog, I brought him here. The person who made my appointment was NOT friendly. 2. I was misled by the GPS and called for assistance, the person in the phone just spoke to me like I’m stupid. 3. I was not greeted or welcomed into this clinic. I stood at the door for a moment until I saw the receptionist’s head and walked towards her. She just gave me paperwork to fill out without any kind of customer service. My dog was super curious and smelling EVERYTHING. I kept dropping my belongings and was just having a hard time filling out the paperwork because my dog would not stay still. When I asked for help, I was ignored. 4. At every other clinic I have been to with my dog, he was greeted and the staff helped me by approaching him and petting him to build trust and rapport. My dog was extremely overly excited and I was having a hard time getting on the scale. I asked for help and the receptionist declined. I understand you don’t want to touch my dog cause you’re ignorant about breeds or maybe just rude in general but you could have helped in other ways. Maybe offering a treat to lure onto the scale. Maybe ask if you could hold something maybe say encouraging words because CLEARLY I WAS OVERWHELMED. Instead this woman just stood there and stared at me. We didn’t even get an accurate reading on his weight. Which is alarming to me because she was way off. 5. Again, no one came in to get to know my dog at all. If they did, they would have seen how friendly he was and a big mush. But no. They yelled at to put on a muzzle on him. Then when I said I have never had to do this before the receptionist didn’t care to help or again had any sympathy. She just made me feel stupid for even questioning her about the muzzle. I understand why they would need to put a muzzle on him for the procedure, but to watch me struggle because I’ve never had to do this to him and not offer help was just wrong. Again, if she just got to know my dog she would have seen how kind he is to everyone. He would have let her put the muzzle on him. I was so upset, I stormed out sobbing. I was not welcomed. No assistance was given. I felt so awful afterwards. What could they have done to make this a better experience? Simple customer service skills. Petting my dog to get to know him. Offer help where you could even if you don’t want to touch my dog “bEcAuSe YoU dOnT kNoW hOw He WiLl ReAcT tO yOu” that was the laziest excuse I was given. Get to know him, every vet clinic I’ve been to got on the floor and pet my dog and gave him belly rubs before any treatment or shot. But not here. I was judged by my breed. After reading the reviews, it seems like the new staff is awful and they charge you an arm and a leg. So I dodged a bullet. This business needs to get it together. After sharing how unhelpful the staff was and about my experience, two people who already go here were DISGUSTED and said they do not want to come here anymore. And if it wasn’t them judging my breed then was it the receptionist being prejudice towards me? What was it?? Or was she lazy?? Either way. AWFUL EXPERIENCE. The only reason I am giving it 1 star is because the Latina woman who helped me with the Lysol because my dog took a nervous poop, was sweet to me. Everyone else, forget it.
