Genesis Joy House is playing a part in history by being the first transitional housing facility for female veterans in Middle Ga. It's a wonderful thing what they are doing for the community and how they are willing to help others. Their mission is very inspirational! Also had the honor of meeting Mrs. Margaret, the founder and CEO, and she is a wonderful woman.

I am a caregiver and at times that role is overwhelming and scary. It's hard to ask for help when life crisis is moving at an extremely fast pace. Although prayers are welcome, sometimes the need is great and immediate, and telling someone in a crisis that I'll pray for you is falling short of what we were put here for. We are to be each other's keepers, that means to provide real help with real time action, not just words. Genesis Joy House is RIGHT NOW HELP! Let's face it the economy is in bad shape; people need help NOW. Genesis Joy House is help, right now! Genesis Joy House is a blessing to the entire Middle Ga, because they provide help to the surrounding community. When I needed a hand up, they were there IMMEDIATELY and always have been. Being a caregiver is an ongoing tough job, one of the toughest jobs with rewards for the heart. One never knows exactly what that means for an organization to be right there in real time, immediately until you are faced with a horrible storm of life and you "need right now help." I know those who support Genesis Joy House, and the volunteers make it possible for the organization to do what they need for the people in need. But it is the heart and soul of Margret Flowers who is a conduit of the Lord! She is that bridge between finding those who has a need to serve and give and getting those donations to those who are in the middle of serious life crisis right away. I am so thankful for the continuous help I received from Genesis Joy House. They bring the joy back into my life of being a caregiver. I am especially thankful for them to continually checking on my wellbeing, my health and my moral. They keep my spirits up and bring joy into my life and for those I love. THANK YOU!!!

I called Genesis Joy House seeking help for my sister. I had no idea of what to expect or do but after speaking with Mrs. Margarette, she pointed me in the right direction. She put me in contact with several organizations that was willing and able to help and she constantly followed up with me to see if I had gotten the help that I needed. Mrs. Margarette definitely goes above and beyond her call of duty, as she strives to give veterans the help that they deserves. Genesis Joy House is blessed to have her on their staff and our community is blessed to have Genesis Joy House, to serve our veterans.

I thank Jesus for this organization's love to help those in need. They are true Super Heroes that leap into action whenever someone calls for help. The way they rallied the community to help my grandchildren with their needs just leaves me in awe and tears of joy. They are truly the hands and feet of Jesus as they put loving your neighbor as yourself into physical practice. I’m still overwhelmed with joy, happiness and of course tears!! This is a beautiful organization filled with beautiful people who God has truly used to be a blessing, not only for my children and I but to countless of others for this holiday season! They have showered us with gifts, prayers and love! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for you all are making my children’s first Christmas in our new home unforgettable!!!
