Facility was clean & well maintained. Animals all seemed quite friendly and looked like they were being taken care of. It's always hard for me to visit a shelter because you don't want to leave anyone behind! The staff was friendly and helpful. They gave us all the time we wanted with the pets. A good visit.

They euthanized a very friendly cat that I found that only had an eye infection. Didn’t even hold him for the holding period. That was somebody’s pet. If you find an animal that could be easily treated, try to seek out other options because they will euthanize if there’s no microchip and the animal is deemed “sick.”

The staff is soooo helpful and totally AWESOME! They helped me get my new puppy 'chipped' and assist in verifying that she is my dog when some indispicable people tried to steal her! Love you guys for all the hard work and hours you put in to help the community and animals!

Had a cat die in our yard , called and they were closed . Wasn't sure what they would be closed for in the middle of the day during the week. Anyways officer said they would call on Monday, as this was on Friday. Wasn't going to let someone's kitty sit out there for bugs and buzzards. Or the kids . Thanks for the call back on Monday too ! (Sarcastically said )

We picked up our Buddy 4 years ago. He has turned out to be one of the best dogs we have ever had. And to think he was just days from being put down. The officers we dealt with were terrific. We could not be happier except we find Buddy a playmate.
