Horrible. Waste of time. Bad attitude. My wife made an appointment at Serenity Cat Hospital, veterinarian, Cherry Mattias for our two cats’ second set of vaccinations. I took a day off work to help her get the cats in the carrier and accompany her. Upon arrival, the assistant finally came out and told us they were in surgery and to be patient. We were patient. We presented our paperwork and filled out additional. While in the waiting area we could hear the vet in the back say, “I’m not seeing any one else!”. I sense this going south. The second assistant finally came out and we repeated the reason why we were there and referred her to the paperwork already presented. The two looked at a chart and were trying to determine, for which vaccinations the cats were due. Is this not intuitive? Finally, the vet and generally unkind person, Cherry Mattias come out and stated that she could not vaccinate the cats unless she examined them. Fine, then examine them. I can really sense this going south, now. She asked why we didn’t take them back to the other vet where they got their first series. We explained that they were not taking new patients and we wanted to get them established. She said she was in surgery and could not vaccinate them that day. I said, “Thank you for making us an appointment on a day that you couldn’t see us, and thank you for wasting our time!” I picked up the cats and left. Mattias told my wife, ”I guess you can’t always get what you want”. They made the appointment on that particular day. We waited a month for it, we were not worked into the schedule. I took a day off work. The cats took an unnecessary ride. And she was the one put out?? I am only thankful that I found out what a self-centered, rude and disorganized person Cherry Mattias is before I allowed her to touch my beloved pet. Consider yourself warned.

Dr Mattias is a very knowledgeable, skilled and compassionate veterinarian. And she always takes her time with my cranky cat, allowing his nerves to calm before examining him. I appreciate her care and I appreciate her.

I brought my beautiful Binx in to have his neuter done and they were absolutely wonderful! Everyone is so kind and the doctor is top notch! She was very good with him and gentle. Highly recommend to all cat owners.

Wow! Have never had a vet spend so much time with one of my animals. She was so kind and gentle with my cat. My cat doesn't really like anyone but me, but she had him purring within seconds. Can really tell she loves cats. Would highly recommend Serenity cat hospital to anyone who wants a great vet at a very fair price. Thank you Serenity!
