We've been taking our rescue to The Cabins for the past year and a half and we absolutely LOVE it! She is obsessed with being with her humans, even comes to work with us during the day normally so we were nervous how she'd do the first time away from us and she did amazing! She loved it so much that she can hardly control her excitement when she goes back. Staff is amazing and always makes us and her feel so special, we wouldn't trust our fur baby with anyone else!
Recently, my husband and I went away for a long weekend. With 3 dogs, this is not always easy to do, having this option for their care was such a relief. My husband was particularly worried about boarding our smallest dog. Aspen Grove was very accommodating for her and her nervousness around dogs she does not know. They had a special play area for her, and she was close to her brothers when she slept. The caregivers took my husband's phone calls when he called to check on her, and they were happy to give him updates on how she was doing. They even emailed photos so he felt even more relaxed about them staying there. We will be using them again next month. I highly recommend The Cabins especially if you have a dog that is not always comfortable around other dogs.
I highly recommend The Cabins at Aspen Grove! I have a 7-lb Yorkie Maltese named Pumpkin that is basically the most important thing in my life. She has an intestinal disease and she gets very sick when she eats the wrong thing and when she is nervous, so I am really, really picky about where I board her when I am away. The Cabins at Aspen Grove not only has quality facilities, but they're inside of Aspen Grove Veterinary Clinic, a local/vet owned clinic that I also trust so I know that if something happens when I'm away, she's in great hands. Be very careful who you trust your pups with! Don't go with the cheapest option and plan ahead!
We recently moved here and needed dog boarding. We tried a few different places and had bad experiences, brought our dog here and it has been great. They genuinely care about our dog and upload pictures of him playing which is always good to see. Will definitely be using them for now on.
Don’t take your animal here if they need any special care. After advising the team on paper and in person about my dog never having stayed overnight in a facility like this and at 11months, he is known to eat things that could obstruct his system. I was told they’d take special care of his needs, they’d play with him extra, care for him to sooth his nerves and watch him closely. Their hold music message says they’ll do that for anyone, that level of care is what families can expect. I called within hours to check on him and the staff asked if this was his first time away, proving instruction for care and special needs was not relayed. They gave me pictures of him playing and I thought maybe he’ll be okay. Within hours of that call I picked up one frantic voicemail about my dog vomiting and having diarrhea. My mind immediately went to an obstruction, which can lead to death. The voicemail was left at 5:30pm. They were supposed to stay open until 7, but left at 6. The voicemail said they’d be back at 9 am the next day. That’s 15 hours for my traumatized possibly obstructed dog left in a concrete kennel on a cot too small for him. When a family member picked him up the next morning he was coated in his feces. After the 15 hour nightmare they sent him home like that! He looked like an ASPCA commercial. Don’t let them or their advertising convince you your pet will have exceptional care. Beware, be careful. I regret this choice as it was traumatic for me, my family and most importantly my dog. If they couldn’t give quality care, they shouldn’t advertise they do.
These people are great at what they do! They are great with my little Boston terrier who is very energetic and needs special attention sometimes. They always give me updates about how she did that day, it shows me how much they care and makes me feel good about leaving her with them.
