Took my dog for a head wound. When I walked in I had to fill out a form on computer. 5 mins later someone came out, nice & polite boy. I explained what was going on. Then the vet came in explained everything, even down to sutures they would be using. Told me it would be a few hours. The boy then came back with an estimate of the cost. All was well. It cane time for me to pick up my baby. Girl met me at the front, didn't take me to room. Gave me the medication, she explained the meds but I had to ask for a bag. Had to ask for a copy of the bill. And that was that. She never said anymore, no instructions. The only thing was to follow-up with regular vet 10-14 days to remove stitches. Few days later I called to ask if there was anything I could do for the wound. She would talk to vet. She said she had/would sent me email well thankfully she did. It was a full page. Precautions I had to take, what to watch for. Very disappointed by there lack of aftercare. Pleased with Vet for stitching up my dog. They need to work on there aftercare though. They should off taken me in a room & fully explained, she should of had the print out in front of her and gone through it. Not sent it by email

VERY friendly and knowledgeable staff who are excited to help. I have 3 dogs & 2 have been to emergency rooms and vets many times. When my little dog had a sudden wound appear I decided to try urgent vet since it wasn’t an emergency but still needed to be seen asap. I checked in online, walked in an hour later, and was immediately taken to a room and was helped. There was no wait on a Sunday afternoon! Within an hour my pup was sedated and being helped and about 30 minutes later we were discharged. I couldn’t be more happy and thankful for the staff and their quick help!

Had to bring our baby in after she scratched her eye pretty bad and continued to try to scratch it. They got us in and out in less than an hour, treated our fur baby so well and gave us guidance on how to care for her over the next few days. Grateful they were able to see us on such short notice🤍

Great people who care about your pets. We have had to use the Urgent Vet in Matthews twice in the past 2 months. They were empathetic and diagnosed our Airedale quickly and provided treatments that worked quickly. We really appreciate the staff here.

I've been in animal rescue for years, and Dr. Speight is THE BEST I've ever worked with. She is so kind, compassionate, knowledgable, and personable that I wish we could have her as our primary vet. So grateful we found her when we needed emergency help last night!
