We are well-equipped to serve your pet with two surgical suites, nine exam rooms and diagnostic equipment including ultrasound, X-rays and more. We are happy to offer Saturday ophthalmology appointments. Our specialist veterinary care includes avian & exotics medicine, cardiology, diagnostic imaging, in-home pet hospice services, internal medicine, oncology, ophthalmology, and surgery.

Blue Pearl is a great place to take a very injured animal. My first experience with them resulted in them saving my dogs life after a multi dog attack. My latest visit resulted in serious hip surgery for my dog. It should give my girl a chance to live many more pain free and happy years rather than a sympathetic euthanisa. So, of course I’m a fan. But the intense care and quality comes at an understandably steep price.

Thank you blue pearl for helping me and my dog. Staff was very friendly, the vet was thorough and knowledgeable. All of my options were explained in a way that I understood. My dog was seen for a bowel obstruction and ended up needing surgery. I was only able to do it because they gave me a list of low cost surgery centers. Had it not been for that, I would have had to put my dog down. I’m so very thankful that my dog got the care he needed and is now back at home recovering from surgery.

My family and I am greatful for your services being available 24/7. Our puppy golden retriever swallowed a sock after our vet had closed for the day, BluePearl was there to the rescue. They were able to quickly get the sock removed and our happy puppy back to normal. Thank you to all the techs and vets who assisted and were so kind and comforting during our visit. We had a late night emergency situation with our dog. BluePearl staff & doctors saw us immediately & started care & attention right away @ the Clearwater location. After an hour & 1/2, we had to transport our dog to Tampa. Bottom line - my dog was well cared for & the care was excellent, the staff was excellent, the doctors were excellent. We 're grateful our dog survived, thanks to the care at both BluePearl locations. After hour care (even though this is 24/7/365) is quite expensive & immediate decisions need to be made under emotionally vulnerable conditions. I understand payment is necessary up front. However, they immediately bill you for procedures that may or may not be necessary and charge the mid range of the lowest & highest quoted amounts. 38 procedures were listed on my bill. I did receive a credit for services that were billed but not performed. Unfortunately, a week later I had to call to inquire when that credit was going to be refunded. It would be helpful to have a billing/accounting person walk you through the statement instead of having the front desk tell you "that's just the way we do it."

We have a 15 year old peekapoo who had developed an eye ulcer. She was squinting, in pain and not acting herself. Our primary vet wanted to put her under anesthesia to perform a procedure to remove the ulcer but with her age we wanted a second opinion. We scheduled an appointment with Dr. Baldwin at Bluepearl Clearwater. She was kind, knowledgeable and answered all our questions without ever making us feel rushed or pressured. She was able to perform the procedure with just numbing drops. Out little Lulu is better than ever, she is playful again, has her beautiful big brown eyes back and we are forever grateful to Dr. Baldwin and the staff at Bluepearl for being such an amazing team.

If I can give 100 starts, that will be my rank for Bluepearl. My Sunconure bird was sick, throwing up, and diarrhea was not active and sleepy. I thought he would die . I called a few places, and they only have a bird specialist for Tuesday's, I can not wait for that long it was an emergency. So I call Bluepearl and they have someone to look at him that day keep in mind is Memorial day weekend, so anyways they do a physical test everthing looks fine they put some fluid and medicine for upset stomach. NEXT DAY HE WAS HAPPY BACK TO NORMAL. SO THANKS TO YOU ALL GUYS AND SPECIAL THANKS FOR DR DOMINIQUE BARBOSA.
