We adopted both of our dogs from The Good Dog Rescue, and my mom's dog too! This group of people are so kind, and so dedicated to the success of these dogs. They offer training support to help the transition of your new family member into your life and your home, and they are constantly available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. They are terrific and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I applied for a puppy.. it took 2 business days and the weekend (which is when their open?) to get back to me. Just to tell me that I was only next in line because someone else cancelled their meet and greet with the puppy. I immediately responded back to the “foster” of the puppy who goes by the name of MARIE her response was very unprofessional towards me.. she then said she would move forward with my application and call my apartment complex to make sure everything was a good fit for the puppy. She never responded back to me and I even reached out to her again. Guess they really pick and choose who they want to their rescues to go to, which is such a huge shame because I would more than love to provide a very loving and good home for a puppy/dog.

We adopted our puppy from here last year and had a great experience. Communication was fast, even though I know they are so busy with everyone wanting to adopt this past year. They offered great training advice and were friendly and helpful. And most importantly: they gave me my new best friend. Thank you for all you do.

They never let us know if the dog we were interested in was adopted or if our application was approved like they said they would in their email to me two weeks ago. Here's what they stated: "If the dog you are interested in gets adopted we will let you know and do our best to suggest another dog that may fit your lifestyle and home." I'm sure they will take the easy way out and say they were so busy with all the applications they couldn't respond to everyone but keeping someone in limbo like this is pretty disrespectful when all they had to do was send a quick email.
