I called on a Friday seeking help for an injured feral kitty after my regular vet declined...Animal Care Center stated they only had one vet working but if I was willing to wait, they would fit me in. They asked me to come around 3:15 and had me inside by 3:30! The vet, Dr. McAllister, was extremely helpful and asked if I wanted to get the kitty neutered since they had to sedate him anyway...that was AWESOME! I generally have to wait WEEKS to get an appointment for surgery with all of the other New Bern clinics. The staff was friendly and very helpful in every way...if I could give then TEN stars, I would!

I called around to multiple vets to get my new rescue dog checked out. Animal Care Center got us in to be seen the next day and worked with my work schedule. Everyone was so nice and checked out my new guy throughly. They also listened to my concerns. Now I'm transferring my other pets!!

Am loving Animal Care Center! The staff is always helpful and friendly. You feel like they truly care about you and your animals. So far our kitten Noodle is the only one who has been there but we are working on transferring all our pets!

Update: several recent visits reveal competent care, but not very personalized. See different vet at each visit. They offer ability to schedule with same vet, but scheduling that way is difficult. Some of the front staff are friendly, but others give the impression they are too busy to be bothered, and some have trouble smiling. A recent visit for suture removal showed no attempt at even clean technique, and certainly not sterile technique. Getting a copy of the pathology report was extremely difficult. Fortunately, we did not need a vet to explain the report because no vet was available to do so.
