The people that work here are so amazing! My female dog got pregnant with a Cane Corso. They took all the puppies in. They weren't even going to charge me so we went ahead and go meet it $100 anyways. When I take the last four we're going to donate another. The people that amazing

I'm confused about the bad reviews on here. My experience was wonderful! I filled out the cat adoption application online, I was called the next day, I set up my appointment and they held the cat for me until the day of the appointment. When I went in, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. They lead us to a room to meet and play with the kitten. After about half an hour of fun, they came in to check on us and I let her know I would love to adopt him. They processed my app, I paid the fees, they set me up with his medical history and other pertinent info (as well as an adorable goodie bag for him), and he's been happy, healthy, and well loved since. This shelter was beyond friendly and knowledgeable. I would absolutely adopt there again. Additionally, I'd even volunteer there. I have nothing but positive feedback about Toledo Animal Rescue and the beautiful work they do. Thank you guys for my sweet little kitty (Officer Toast)!

Skippy is our 3rd adoption from here. First came our big guy. Obsidian, quickly followed by baby girl Jett. What a great place! The workers are caring and friendly, and the animals are ready for love. We really like that it is a no kill facility and that it is scrupulously clean.

The 2 staff members were so sweet Sunday! Clean, and animals were so well kept. The girls knew all the kittens by first name. You will not be disappointed I could not believe how clean the place was. I will be back! And I adopted a sweet boy Mojito!!! Welcome Home Sweet Baby Boy!!!!

The staff here helped our family to select a new best friend. They truly care about animals and work hard to get them to families who are looking to adopt and not shop. We have had Percy for going on 7 years and he has been an absolute joy! Happy adoption day! 9/15/2022. 7 years of joy!
