Don't go to this place. That doctor needs to retire like the other Dr Grist did. Also would like to know how they are still using his name on EVERYTHING when he's not practiced in over 5 years???? All yall who have his name on your vet mobile papers are screwed because that cannot be legal.

This place is absolutely horrible I brought my beloved dog Diesel here for a second opinion after the first vet told me Diesel had acid reflux so I take diesel to wade hampton animal hospital and they gave me the same answer of he has acid reflux they didn’t try to do blood work or a x-ray they just gave him a probiotic and sent him on his way after another week went by and diesel still hasn’t gotten any better I took him to a third vet Clearview Animal Hospital in Easley and they finally found out what was wrong with diesel no it wasn’t the results we wanted but he had cancer not acid reflux and clearview was so incredibly compassionate to help through the tough time and the fact that two different vets misdiagnosed Diesel is ridiculous I should sue y’all and Banfield for making diesel suffer almost two months with cancer since y’all told me it was just acid reflux y’all are lucky I can’t give y’all a zero star cause I would worst vets ever Banfield and wade hampton animal hospital I will be going to Clearview Animal Hospital from now on and if I was y’all I would stay away from Banfield and wade hampton if you love your fur babies

Our 4 year old dog was very ill. This place did $600 worth of tests to tell us that he should be euthanized. We got a second opinion from a vet who is actually competent. He looked at the tests and immediately knew that there was a treatment. We almost put our beloved dog to sleep because these people are incompetent. Avoid at all costs.

They’re scamming people by charging an “office visit” fee for even walking in the door. It used to cost $40 for my dog to have her nails trimmed and glands squeezed. Now it’s $60 just for a nail trim. And they don’t tell you this up front. Poor service. Awful vet. I hope they shut down over their shady business practices

I took my sick 3 year old dog there last week. During 3 consecutive days of visits, they ran labs, hydrated, and repeated labs, then diagnosed him with renal failure. We were devastated when the vet said there was nothing more to be done unless we wanted to go to a specialist, which was $2-5k up front to even diagnose. I was close to scheduling euthanasia, but made an appointment with Dr. Felder at Poinsett Animal Hospital, and force fed/watered my dog until that appointment yesterday. He walked in, examined the dog & within 5 minutes told me he suspected Addison's Disease, which is very treatable. Labs were run last night, results communicated first thing this morning, and dog was admitted to begin treatment. His prognosis is excellent, and we expect many more healthy years with our pet. I have no issues with the staff or the treatment we received at Wade Hampton Veterinary Hospital. It was obvious they cared about me and my pet. I went there to save some money, but ended up with a week's worth of suffering + a far greater bill of charges than I expected. My only issue is the incompetence of Dr. Grist. She missed this diagnosis and we almost euthanized our dog. Beware, Greenville. It's not worth saving a few bucks.
