I adopted my cat nala with them. It was a great experience I was offered a lot of help being a first time cat owner and it was an easy process only took about an hour! And she has adapted beautifully to our home.

the people who work here are so weird and mean. it's like they do not want you to get a pet. while i was adopting my kitten here, the lady showing me around the pet rooms was just straight up mean. i took my phone out to take A picture of the kitten i was adopting, and because the mean lady was putting her in the box in that moment, she SNAPPED, "Okay, I am not a photo taker😡" i quickly put my phone away. i was obviously not trying to get a photo of this mean adoption lady. it was the just first second i had free after picking out my cat and i wanted to take a photo of her, MY CAT. Whoever did my interview grilled me, again, like they didn't want me to get a pet. It was like they were asking me trick questions and trying to set me up! The only nice person was the woman who gave me/helped me sign my papers at the end. However PAWS did not provide me with ANY official health records, and with the papers PAWS did give me, my cat was refused at a boarding house. the boarding house had example pics of records they do not accept that looked just like the ones I had. My adoption experience was overall super negative and disappointing. Silver lining is I got the best cat ever in the world. Don't go here if you are excited and optimistic about getting a pet, this place will make you feel ashamed and uncomfortable for no reason.

If you don’t think you can find a furever baby from a shelter……. You are incredibly wrong! She’s one of the best dogs I have ever met! Alright enough about her lol this is about Paws. From the moment you walk in, to seeing the animals, to meeting your fur baby to signing papers and leaving was beautiful. Everyone was super friendly and kind. You can tell that Paws really goes the extra mile to make sure the animals are extremely cared for. The kennels were absolutely clean. Blankets and toys in most kennels as some might not do well with them. Either way. ADOPT! It’s okay and cool.

Before going to this place I wondered how someone could give 1 star to such a cute place that takes care of puppies until I went there. The staff at this place are extremely unhelpful. I went back and forth 3 times, made 2 calls and they still failed to explain the process of fostering and what is needed properly. Some of the staff were condescending. They made it so hard on me that I changed my mind and gave up on fostering dogs through them. I feel horrible for those poor puppies because I am sure they have lost many warm homes, love, and care they could receive because of the people who work there. Even though I mentioned I have ZERO experience taking care of dogs who need medical care, they were saying that would probably be the case. Eventually, they asked me to bring my three other roommates with me even though I explained that we have experience living with dogs. I have already talked to them, and they agreed to it, and I have my private space. How on earth could I schedule a time that works with 3 other people who work different jobs, with different schedules only to meet a puppy that I potentially want to foster; not adopt, foster. Do NOT recommend this place if you are willing to foster a dog.

Extremely rude staff and volunteers. Me and my sister who were looking to adopt did not feel welcomed at all. Glad we didn't since after doing research it seems that paws has been adopting out sick pets and not helping with aftercare even though it was their fault. Definitely recommend visiting one tail at a time or the anti cruelty society.

My mom and I went in to adopt 2 kittens in june and the whole adoption process was very simple and quick. The volunteers and staff that helped us were very friendly but that wasnt the issue. The problem were the medical issues that started not even 5 days after we brought our kittens home. One of them had an upper respiratory infection and eye infection that we were not told anything about when adopting them. The treatment for his upper respiratory infection thankfully was covered completely with the VCA certificate we were given since it was within the 14 days after we had adopted them. Soon after he was recovering our other kitten ended up having the same issues his brother had and that was only a week after we had adopted them. This time though the certificates didn't cover his medical issues. We were never told of any of these medical issues that they had and one of them is still recovering months later from reoccurring upper respiratory infections and eye infections that we have had to cover completely. Our vet told us that they both probably contracted the upper respiratory infections in the shelter and not in our home. I have tried multiple times to contact PAWS and have left various messages over the 5 months that we have had our kittens and have not heard anything from them. We never were told these kittens had all of these current medical issues that PAWS has not covered or helped with the vet bills at all. We are covering everything completely when PAWS lied to us about the health of our kittens.
