Description Bellevue Animal Hospital PC is a privately owned, full-service veterinary care center. We have been accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 1973, and maintain exacting standards in all aspects of our practice, from client services to diagnostics and surgery. Our services include wellness care for all life-stages, vaccinations, soft tissue & orthopedic surgery, dentistry, laser therapy, endoscopy, ultrasound, digital radiography, EKG, nutritional & behavioral counseling, avian & small exotic medicine, health certificates, advanced anesthetic monitoring, pet food & supplies, and more. We have a laboratory and pharmacy on site. Located just south of Omaha, Nebraska, we look forward to meeting you and your pets!

We will never go back to the Bellevue Animal hospital. My husband went to the location to see if we could get our elderly dog in to be seen on Friday. He was told that they were booked solid but they had one opening at 8:50am on Saturday. So we made the appointment and my husband got there early for our 8:50 appointment. At 8:49, a man walks in and said he just called about being seen and the staff ushered them back to a room. There was no emergency situation they just took a walk in and bumped the appointment My husband was then told they could squeeze him in at 10am. The staff at the front desk are incompetent and rude Even though we live 6 blocks away we will never be back due to the indifference and incompetence of the front desk.

I am so excited to leave a positive review. I have a large collection of pets and our current vet, whom we have use for 15 years, is retiring. I wanted to take an opportunity to fall in love with a vet closer to my house. Unfortunately, the timing was horrible. My senior dog was battling a tumor so I needed to establish care sooner rather than later. Their office worked so hard to get us in quickly. One of the reasons I chose this office was the urgent care and weekend hours. We have 3 dogs and two cats and nothing interesting ever happens on a Monday. The office staff was amazing and both vets were wonderful. Dr. Stelling even found a YEARS old medication error for my asthmatic cat. When the new prescription was HUNDREDS of dollars at Walgrrens, they managed to fill it with their in house pharmacy for less than $20. The office visit pricing is tiered based on services and urgency and were VERY reasonable. Tragically, we also had to help our senior cross the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. Not only were they so kind and supportive, the office staff worked us in earlier than our actual appointment when the situation was deteriorating quickly. They have a private Comfort Room and we were allowed to be with our fur baby both before, during and after. We did choose to use their on-site cremation services. So, as someone who has had to be at their office four times in the first week I can HIGHLY recommend them!

I'd recommend taking your animal to an ATF agent before coming here. I was playing fetch with my dog at the park, she tore her dew claw. I was quoted $141 for an emergency visit, this wasn't the full charge, just a fee. I wasn't offered an appointment either. [Omaha animal hospital had a spot open in 1 hr, its 10 mins up the street] I asked plainly if someone could look at it and tell me if its a removal or just let it heal. I was told the techs are busy. It would be an emergency. This is fine, your business your prices. However, when I walked away I was given a "wow, realllllly..." by an absolute peach of a woman who wasn't even speaking with me, just chiming in. If you're going to charge premium prices maybe hire people that can keep their narration to themselves. A self check in kiosk would have been more pleasant. Thankfully, the vet I stopped at next took care of it in 5 minutes and I found someone that I trust to clean my dog's teeth. Update: Took her up the street and they had a room ready for her to go to, she had ner nails trimmed, nail removed, sealed, steroid shot, antibiotics, and a couple pain pills. It was $122 total.

I really really love this place. My kitty had some dental issues, and long story short we ended up visiting 3 vets total because of it. Bellevue Animal Hospital was the most professional of all of them, and very reasonably priced, even though they had the best technology. In every possible category, ten stars across the board. I'm SO happy with them!! Highly recommend

In February, I took my Bearded Dragon (Cowboy) in for an initial check-up because my wife and I were concerned about his health. He didn't seem to be eating very well and looked to be in discomfort. We were told that the doctor at this clinic specialized in exotic animals and were hoping for a thorough diagnosis of what may be causing issues. Unfortunately, Bellevue Animal Hospital does not take/test stool samples so we could not have him checked for parasites/worms. After a 5-10 minute check-up with the doctor that costed us $50, he said everything looked to be normal and there were no issues. We then took him to a clinic that offered stool sample testing and found out that he had a large population of the Coccidia parasite and ring worms. Although he looked to be healthy overall, there was still an internal issue that Bellevue Animal Hospital could not test for. Overall, BAH may be a great resource for more "common" pets but I would not recommend taking an exotic/reptile pet here as they are not as knowledgeable as other places in town. A $50 charge for a 5-10 minute appt. was not worth my time or money.

All the staff were amazing they took care of Charlay so well, I wished I would have found them sooner. They answered each and every question I had even some that weren’t related to why I was there for the visit. I would recommend them to any needing a vet.
