Very compassionate and experienced Dr. Penyy took her time to explain things to my friend who had to euthanize her beloved cat due to an incurable illness. I would recommend her to all the people who have cats.
Dr Penny saved my cats life twice. She is smart, meets your expectations, calm, knows her medicine, and cares about the animals. I wouldn’t go to anyone else but her. I can’t say enough great things about Dr penny. She is everything you want in someone taking care of a creature that means so much to you. Keep practicing the way you do Dr penny, it’s rare. I’ve been to many vets and she stands out as smart, quick to think, not trying to financially cripple you, and acts without panic even if the situation is stressful (my cat was in respiratory distress from asthma). Great great doctor
I don’t remember the last time I ever wrote a review of anything but I had such a terrible experience that I figured I should share my experience with other cat owners. I brought my cat in and he was seen by Dr. Lotus Altholtz who (30+ minutes after my scheduled appointment time) barely performed any physical exam whatsoever and then immediately tried sending me to an ophthalmologist for an eye infection. My cat has a chronic breathing disorder and she tried to send me to the emergency room despite me explaining this was a chronic issue. She then said I should take him to the emergency room regardless because of the eye infection (??). She then discovered a “heart murmur” and tried to send me to a cardiologist. On top of all this she was extremely rude and judgmental towards me for not agreeing with her unwarranted escalation of the severity of the situation (my cat is fine now and she was clearly overreacting in my medical opinion). I am a doctor (for humans) and i would never treat my patients like this. For someone calling themselves the “cat doctor” she seemed incapable of assessing the patient, forming a differential diagnosis +/- recommending tests to narrow it down, and then prescribing a treatment. She seemed to view herself as some kind of intermediary to send people to specialists as opposed to a clinician that diagnoses and treats. If you value your time and money as I do, I would highly recommend a different vet as I felt both were wasted here. I do not know about other vets at this practice but I would avoid Dr. Altholtz.
The Cat doctor is always available for any of your needs. Throughout the years we've used her services from annual check up, prescriptions, emergency visits, IV drips, supplements, and they do full shave downs/lion cuts. My babies have always been comfortable around Dr. Penny and her techs.
Dr. Penyy and the rest of the staff are absolutely amazing! Super kind and knowledgeable, fairly priced. Dr. Penyy is very gentle and is the only vet that can handle my extremely squirmish cat with cerebellar hypoplasia.
Everyone here is wonderful-- reception, techs, vets. We initially sought them out for dental care after our cat Nina started losing teeth left and right. Surgery was effective and affordable, and they've been providing her with excellent care all around since then. They are kind and gentle with Nina and attentive to her health issues that need monitoring. I've never felt pressured to pay for any unnecessary tests or procedures. Most importantly, Nina seems to trust them and is calmer in their care than she's been anywhere else, which makes it worth the hour-long drive.
