I have visited here and it was one of the most peaceful and positive experiences I’ve ever had. Joanie, the owner exudes graciousness, kindness and humor but most of all devotion and dedication to the horses and other animals. The horses and all the animals at this place manifest the simple pleasure of just “being”. Even though the horses have come out of negative situations and some are still in the process of healing internally and externally, their sopranos and healthy and fit. They radiate beauty inside and out. Joanie and all who help at this place are a blessing.

I adopted a horse from HPS 13 years ago and adopted another miniature horse from them a few years back. These people are wonderful. I have no doubt I will long term foster/adopt from them for years to come. I'm proud to be an approved adopter of theirs and honored they have entrusted two of their horses to me.

It so Beautiful to see this place to rescue these poor abused horses. Saturday and Sunday Mornings our the best time to visit this rescue place and see the Beautiful work they do with the horses. Take the whole family 👪
