Love the beaver county humane society. They are always so nice and informative. Every time I bring my cat here for the vet clinic or have even adopted a cat they are well equipped and give wonderful customer service. All their animals are well loved and cared for too
They are very nice and compassionate here, i will definitely bring our other kitty here for check ups.❤️ Da Buddy
I used to think very highly of this establishment. Now I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. I rescued kittens that were approximately 8 weeks old and called BCHS. They told me to bring them in and they would evaluate them to see if they were too feral or could be adopted out. I took them and the kittens were fine to be held no hissing or anything. Now 3 weeks later they call me to tell me I have to come back and get them to tnr. These kittens have gone from being able to be adopted to now being absolutely terrified. I can only imagine what they went thru. Seems as though they were locked in a cage for 3 weeks with no interaction. Funny that they told us they tried and they were too aggressive but the paper said they were just examined yesterday. I’d be aggressive too after no interaction for 3 weeks. What a disgrace of treating animals. I certainly hope they take better care of the other animals they house.
My family and I were visiting from out of state and we're going to look for a dog or cat for my family here in beaver county. All we wanted to do was look around at the animals they had listed on your website. We have been there before and have actually adopted a few dogs from there in the past but upon entering we were going to look at the animals we were met a gentlemen stating we had to fill out pre adoption form and if not we had to leave. So we left. I really hope the animals being taken care of there get adopted and find great homes. It's not the animals fault they are there it's the beaver county humane society fault
The staff were all very nice and incredibly knowledgeable about their animals. My family and I ended up falling in love with the sweetest little puppy who we ended up adopting and taking home with us that day. I cannot thank this establishment enough for giving us this wonderful experience and our amazing new furry family member! Adopting rescues are always going to be the best addition to your household. Adopting rescued animals saves lives.
I adopted Ted 4 years ago from here when he was 3. He's the most loving and cuddly cat I could ever ask for. The staff was amazing I asked the staff working if they had a cuddly cat and they brought me Ted/ Teddy.
