I removed my previous 5 star review to leave an updated 5 star review of Robinson 24-hour Veterinary Hospital. In July, we were here with our cat Sherbert. Dr. Robinson was quick, attentive, and very transparent through every test result and cost we would face with getting our orange anxiety-ridden boy back to health. He was constipated, but his dad was grief-stricken and made the call to take him to Robinson. The tact in which they delivered news to my fiancé was remarkable. Everything was extremely clear to understand. We loved the fact we could see what was happening behind the scenes with our spicy boy. His sedation was smooth and he was sent home with detailed instructions. A rapport was sent to our usual vet for follow up and clear communication between our two vets made for a seamless recovery. I brought my dog, Sadie, here in an emergency yesterday morning. She was bleeding from her rear, had bloody urine, and I was convinced she had eaten a portion of her blanket. We were immediately triaged and a vet was in ASAP (she is blonde, I cannot remember her name but she was FANTASTIC.). It was recommended that Sadie have a stay with Robinson 24-hr and I knew she was in the best hands I could think of. I was given photo calls in the evening, and in the morning. I was met with kindness, and the same transparency I experienced some months ago, every time I called for an update outside of the usual 12-hr updates. My Sadie girl is a hell-in-a-handbasket, and they just absolutely adored her the whole time she was there (even when she leapt through her leash). I was given a detailed rundown of at home care, and I felt the overall cost was EXTREMELY “reasonable” (what even is reasonable when you are panicking to help your animal… your family member? I’d pay a fortune and every penny would be worth it at this facility). To make a long story short, I will forever sing praises for this facility. Thank you to everyone at Robinson 24-hr vet.

I really cannot express my deep gratitude for this office. First off, as someone who has been into the ER on a number of occasions, is beyond my understanding of how these wonderful people are able to manage their incredibly difficult and stressful job and still show the love and compassion that they do every time we have had to visit. I have witnessed the way they handle mine and so many other people’s pets and they are the best veterinarian office in town. The service that they offer for emergency services at the price range provided is in unexplainably huge value to the community. I’ve paid $600 for an emergency visit at other emergency animal hospitals who weren’t even open 24-hours a day. To have an office I can rely on day in and day out at any time of day has been such a relief given the medical needs of our dog. When our senior cat took a turn for the worst last week, they showed an abundance of love and kindness to us. It was the best experience I’ve ever been provided when having to say goodbye to a beloved pet. To the Robinson staff, words cannot express our deep gratitude, respect, and appreciation for everything you do day in and day out. I know everyone’s story with this clinic isn’t the same, but I know they all give their very best to every pet and person that walks through their doors.

First off I just wanna say how well they handled everything. This is now our second time having to rush one of our kitties to this hospital and each time was a great experience with the stuff given the circumstances. The way they treated my babies like they were their own babies. I will be forever grateful for choosing this hospital. The compassion we received from the staff when we had to make that hard choice was just amazing. It made saying goodbye to our kitties a better experience. Marble 12/24/23 🩷 Sassenach 7/6/24

Great first experience with Robinson 24- Hour Vet hospital. I adopted a new kitten from the shelter and he had several issues including blood in the stool and urine. Robinson Vet got me right in, even though a tropical storm was happening. They examined my kitten. They went over all the options and costs and allowed me to discuss what I felt would be the best treatment plan with their medical advice. They’ve been very clear about everything and so helpful! I’d recommend them to anyone needing emergency services.

While visiting family in Jacksonville our 5yo pup (Holly) appeared to have difficulty urinating (frequently posturing but no potty). We were so thankful to have found Robinson 24 hour vet hospital in Yulee. Although extremely busy on a Sunday evening our pup was taken back for triage & returned to us in the waiting area. We were informed when we arrived that it may be a few hours because of the number of emergencies they currently had. The wait time wasn’t as bad as anticipated & Dr. Robinson came in & examined Holly, took her back for diagnostics & bloodwork. Sadly, our girl had about 30 bladder stones & would need surgery which thankfully because of a cancellation we were able to schedule the following day. Dr. Holmes performed the surgery & gave us a call to let us know that she did very well & was resting comfortably & we could pick her up that evening. Since we had a pup with bladder stone issues back in Texas, we knew all too well what The treatment plan would be.. Everyone at the facility from the greet staff, vet techs, Dr. Robinson and Dr. Holmes have been absolutely amazing and compassionate. We’re so thankful there is a 24 hour vet in the area because emergencies never happen between 9-5.

My family and two dogs were on vacation last week at Jeykel Island & on 7/23 my pups 9 month old & 11 year old Havanese were in a freak accident. As I was screaming for help no one got up from the dinner table to help me & my daughter just watched... we were in complete shock no vet on the island or near us. My daughter found Robinson 24 hour that was over an hour away but they were waiting on us as soon as we got there. Let me just say my dogs are like my children and they are well taken care of. I'm at a vets office that I know nothing about and they want me to trust them with my dogs? All I can say is that Dr. Robinson saved my 11 year old Coco Bella who had very Severe injuries and I didn't think she was going to make it. Coco was in the hospital for a week and I was able to drive back to NC yesterday with her. My 9 month old was fine just needed IV fluids from the shock of the accident. This is a privately owned business not a corporation like my vet here. Due to this experience I have changed vets because I want someone like Dr. Robinson who cares for the well being of her patients which is my fur babies. Dr. Robinson called to check on my Coco today and is happy to speak to my new vet moving forward for the care of Coco which means so much. I have never been through such a traumatic experience in all my years of having pets. Dr. Robinson and staff were very tolerant of me when I wasn't so nice due to me not trusting them. All I can say is I'm so grateful that Dr. Robinson was at the hospital when I brought my babies in that night. Thank you again for saving my Coco.
