If I could give more than five stars I would. Dr. Williams and Dr. MacDonald saved my cat in a veterinary emergency. If you are looking for the best, most caring and state of the art veterinary practice, look no further. My cat was admitted during a veterinary emergency and ended up staying three nights for observation and hospital care. Thank you Jamie, Corinna and all of the front desk staff for making a making an exception and seeing us as a new patient/client during this horrific time (when no one else would.) During his stay he received so much love and extraordinary care from his tech Miles (I’m not sure if he ever wanted to come home). He followed up with me daily with multiple pictures and progress updates. It made my heart so full to receive a picture of my kitty every morning assuring me he was on the mend. Special thank you to Kristin who was also his technician. Knowing that he was in the best hands ever helped me make it through the week as a worried and distressed pet owner. (Earlier during the week we unfortunately had to visit the local emergency vet and I was extremely displeased. When I received my bill, I was absolutely astounded. The services he received and care were so disappointing compared to Fernandina Beach Animal clinic. The doctor rarely spoke with me and daily I had to follow up and beg for a progress report. They made sure to use every last penny on my deposit and estimate that I signed for.) Although we would give the world to our pets, many people cannot afford to do so when they receive an outrageous treatment plan like I did. Because of circumstances like this, unfortunately they lean towards euthanasia. I had a friend that this just happened to and it makes me absolutely sick. Looking back and knowing what I know now, I wish I could have steered her to FBAC for a honest and reasonable solution. Our final bill at Fernandina Beach Animal Clinic was 1/4 of the price of what I paid for an overnight stay at the ER. It was a completely different vibe from the moment I walked in the door and everybody genuinely cared and were extremely empathetic. The quality, treatment plan, and love he received was far more superior than I could have imagined. The doctors were very conservative yet thorough in his course of treatment. We are so happy that he was so well taken care of that he could be home with us today to celebrate Easter. We did not think he would be with us today. We are 24 hours post discharge and my baby is doing absolutely phenomenal! My family and I just want to thank everyone at Fernandina Beach Animal Clinic for everything you have done and for saving my favorite baby. Saving one animal at a time, may not change the world, but it sure changed Aston Martins! We are loyal clients for life and forever grateful.

The staff were incredible! Being in health care, I’m very critical of doctors and medical staff. Dr Brian Citino was very thorough on his examination as well as knowledgeable and courteous. His assistant Geoffrey was Amazing with my German Shepherd! From the beginning of our visit that began and ended with receptionist Carina to intake by assistant Caitlyn to seeing Dr Citano and his Wonderful assistant Geofrey, I’m giving Fernandina Beach Animal Clinic an A ++. So glad they are here !!!

Love this animal clinic. Both veterinarians my 13 year old black lab has been seen by so far are superb. ( Epsom and Citino) You actually get to see them and talk with them yourself and the whole office is so well organized . Staff is superb! Obviously everyone is well trained and competent in whatever they do, whatever role they play there, and compassionate. I’m so relieved to have found them after becoming so disappointed and frustrated in the incompetence of the place I was formerly using.

I love this Veterinarian’s office! We’ve been with them for a while and always feel like they go above and beyond. Today was a great example, I let time get away from me and the day before vacation I realized I needed to get my pup a cytopoint shot so he wouldn’t be miserable while we were gone and the pet sitter wasn’t stressed about giving meds. They had me drop him off and Dr MacDonald worked him in between her scheduled patients. The sweet front desk staff and vet techs took care of my big baby until I got off work. Everyone there went above and beyond for us and we appreciate it!!!

Wonderful experience! My dog, Hank, did not want to leave Fernandina Beach Animal Clinic. The staff were very kind and so caring for my dog. Dr. Julie Williams took time examining Hank and made sure all of my questions were answered. I recently moved to Amelia Island and this was my first visit to Fernandina Beach Animal Clinic. They 100% earned my trust.

This veterinary practice offers exceptional care from the time you make the appointment, to walk-in, to walk-out. I appreciate the front staff and techs as well as the doctors. They are a great team of professionals! They treat my dog and cat and every doctor has been wonderful.
