Amazing friendly staff that helped us adopt our beautiful sweet baby girl kittens! They truly care about the animals and love finding them their forever home.

These guys were super nice, responsive and really cared for their dogs. We went there to meet our current dog and she is a sweetheart. Everyone there was very nice and welcoming and seemed to be genuinely animal lovers themselves. Our dog was I think 325 but that included all her shots, spayed, a bag of dog food, and she was there for several months so I imagine there was money for room and board as well (feeding her, staff, etc.) so I think that is very reasonable to pay.

Great staff, very helpful. Found the perfect dog. They even followed up a few days later to be sure the dog and us were the right fit.

The animals are great! And so is the staff and there are so many animals, but many are sick. I loved seeing all of the different personalities of these precious animals. (Also I'd like to add that many are sick not because of the environment of Halo but rather because they are rescues and likely encountered illness previously.. furthermore requiring more care before they can be adopted)

Looking st the review responses come on no respect and if they can't respect humans how do you think they treat our loved animals. Guarantee they abuse their animals like how they are abusive through their responses to simple questions.

Halo rescues (Metro Center and Bell Rd) are disreputable. I inquired about a young dog only to find out it was brought in from New Mexico. (?) huh? Aren't there enough homeless dogs to go around in PHX? Yet again at the Bell Road location a staffer said the dog I was looking at came from Rocky Point. (Mexcio?) When a dog doesn't get high enough visability in one location it is transferred to another. I watched a small chihuahua mix move 3 times. The dog ended up at the main center and after a couple of weeks it disappeared. When I asked about the dog I was looked at with contempt. This is just another profiteering 501c masquerading as a rescue. Notice their "pricing scheme". Puppies are priced the highest (some $505.00). They must celebrate when the get a pregnant Chihuahua.... Whooopie!!! (They'll pay the rent this month!) This and most rescues are invasive and judgement. So why hasn't a State Representative looked into Animal Rescues in PHX Metro??????
