I am very grateful to Dr. Geigel and the rest of the team at CAH. They've been nothing but kind and caring with my diabetic and FIV-positive senior cat. They do very high quality work in my experience. Dr. Geigel is extremely communicative and doesn't talk to me like I'm an idiot - something I value in veterinary care. Companion Animal Hospital has been in Oak Hill for a very long time. It is under new management. My experience was that this is a for-profit veterinarian business. Fueled by financial success and less by compassion for animals. If you are interested in alternatives to rigorous medical intervention, perhaps this is not for your pet. Super nice receptionist!

WHATLIGHTS

Our dog was in such a tremendously severe and critical condition, we were certain she would not make it, but the miracle workers at Companion Animal Hospital literally brought her back to life and brought her joy and energy back in a matter of mere days. They were very transparent throughout the entire treatment and we never felt like they weren’t doing enough to help. They explained everything very well and eased our worries without lying to us about the severity of our dog’s condition. They let us spend plenty of time with our dog when we visited, and she seemed happy and well cared for while she stayed there. It is such a night-and-day difference from all the other vets in town who have given in to the mafia that is medical insurance. This establishment still feels human, and it feels like they genuinely care for the well-being of your pet, which is far more than could be said elsewhere.

Dr.Geigel and his entire team have gone above and beyond to take care of our puppy, Buddy. They’ve accommodated us at a moment’s notice whenever we’ve needed an urgent appointment. No matter the circumstance, we always find comfort in the fact that they do their best and put his well being over everything else. Dr. Geigel is an excellent vet and has always chosen the best course of action for Buddy. I am very glad that we found CAH.Buddy loves the entire team at CAH and is always very happy to see them.
