What a wonderful place to adopt a new best friend from. The kennel's and grounds are kept clean and well organized. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable about the process. The administrator Bonnie is a pure pleasure to work with and will help in any way she can. I highly recommend this shelter.

I dropped off a sick cat in need of serious help at this place. Everything was fine until I drove away and received a phone call from these lunatics claiming I had already taken the cat to a different shelter in a different town and need to come back and get the cat. I had no clue what they were talking about yet was called a liar and yelled at, among other insults. I had not taken the cat to any other establishment and tried to express that, but they were certain I had somehow driven over an hour away in the span of the phone call I made to them 15 minutes prior about bringing them the cat. These psychos clearly do not want to help animals if they’re harassing people to this extent asking them to come back and get animals they have surrendered in need of help. Do your jobs and go take care of the hundreds of animals in cages and stop trying to falsely accuse innocent people like you’re the police department.

The staff cares, and it's obvious they put alot of work into maintaining the facility. I'm surprised 95% of the animals are in there. But MOST are great animals surrendered animals from trash people. 5 stars for the pups AND the staff 🫡

We have fostered 2 kittens for and adopted two cats from Wakulla Animal Services and the shelter and their staff are amazing. If we ever need to add another cat to our family it’s the first place I would go!

Expandacraft Modular Boats

The staff obviously love what they do, and I just love to stop in and play with the cats and occasionally walk a dog. I can't have a pet, so this is the next best thing, and great therapy for me and the animals.
