My son had let our Shepard out on a Friday morning. Prior to that heat cycle, my dogs have never wandered, and I've never had an animal taken to a shelter before this. We physically searched all weekend as well as called and left numerous messages at all shelters in area. She was not posted until Sunday evening. Amber did everything in her power to keep us from getting our girl back, including manipulating the 4 day stray law (which was not mentioned until hours before hold was up), answering calls from across the country while ignoring mine, insisting she was not vaccinated and requiring me to prepay her rabies that she was current on, and going as far as mocking and taunting me as she counted down the minutes until I did not own my dog. When I spoke out via social media, she gave a colorful, slanderous false narrative to the public, which led to heavy online gangstalking. In which it was said that they do not even have to post animals that come in, which makes me wonder about all of the Shepards and other animals of value that have been searched for and posted that disappeared without a trace. I have taken in many animals while their owners were in the hospital or incarcerated, as well as helped many many animals find their owners without the trauma of a shelter. I feel I was targeted by Amber and this inexonerable behavior should be stopped.
I got Cliff, he's a great doggy. The girls I dealt with were incredibly fun to talk too. Real people
Staff will manipulate the laws to keep your animal, rude, will hang up on you when you inquire protocol not being followed. Will publicly slander with a colorful narrative. Not only me, several other women that Amber did this to as well. My dog was never posted for adoption.
We adopted our dog about a month ago. The shelter is run by wonderful people who clearly care for the animals there. We received regular communication throughout the adoption process, and they made sure we had everything necessary to get our girl all set up in her new home. They seem to know each of the dogs and their individual needs well. We highly recommend!
We adopted a small terrier about 1 year old from here many years ago when my kids were little. Was a terrier named her Missy Missy got congestive heart issues at 12 yrs old. She received medicine and lived to 18 years old. This place was a clean place with caring people. I'd adopt another dog from here. Looking for a Welsh terrier type poochie.
Amazing people who care about the welfare of all animals and care daily for the dogs at the shelter with full hearts. We have an amazing team.
