We have taken our dog Winston & cat Gracie here for multiple reasons. We have always been treated with kindness and respect! Winston had been having a tough time with after several urgent vet visits with no results, we decided to return to Vetco for a third opinion. Thank goodness we did! Dr. Linderer took a look at Winston and agreed that he needed serious neuro care. Thanks to her and her diligence, our dog has seen a specialist and his life has been saved! Priced fairly, rotating but competent staff, and clean atmosphere. I 100% recommend this clinic.
I brought my cat here for the fist time today. Check in and check out was quick and easy. My cat was scared and vet tech and vet were very caring and understanding. I will definitely be back!
I have been bringing my pet here for several years and in the beginning they were great, HOWEVER that has changed A LOT. if your looking for consistency in service or even consistency with the staff this is NOT the place for you. We never see the same vet when we go back and keep getting differing opinions from different vets. Once says to do this the next says to never do that. We will be finding a new vet since this morning they decided to charge a $65 sick visit and didn’t even bother to take my dogs temperature or look at the skin where the issue was. Save yourself time and frustration and find a stable veterinarian office that’s actually knows what they are doing.
I took my dog here once and continue to be plagued with issues. There’s the initial problem where I scheduled her appointment online, selected which services I needed (so you’d presume that they would know how long of an appointment to make available), only to get there and be told that they didn’t have time to see her. They even rudely managed to make it seem like *I* was the idiot for not scheduling enough time. Now I’m trying to get the flea/tick/heartworm medication that she was prescribed refilled. I’ve called twice asking to have it emailed to me, which I was told could take up to 24 hours (like we don’t live in the year of our lord 2024), the first call being 24 hours ago, so the ETA on getting any communication you need seems to be ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I moved recently and tried to have it filled at the location in my town, but they would require that I take her in for another $70+ visit. I’m still struggling with this, and not holding my breath for getting her prescription being an easy task. I’m not going to go into how she likely picked up parvo here (she was getting her final round of puppy shots) because I can’t prove it, but much like budget airlines, that low price tag doesn’t seem so low once the final price is tallied.
This was our first visit to Vetco. The moment we walked in, we had a very friendly greeting and felt we were at the right place. Sadly, we had an unexpected and tragic situation with our cat Miss Truffles during our visit. I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Dr. Linderer, Dustin, Pri and everyone else involved for trying to save our baby and the compassion they gave us. I was so amazed at the card and paw prints we received a couple days later from them. We picked up Miss Truffles ashes yesterday and that compassion continued with a heartfelt conversation with Dustin. Again, thank you all for everything you did for us. We appreciate it more than you know❤️
I am beyond frustrated right now. I have two cats that are regularly seen here, we're generally happy with the service although the vets apparently never stick around. One of my cats was seen last November, got a clean bill of health from the vet working there. I'm trying to get a prescription for standard dewormer for my cat, because she often goes outside and I try to do it regularly. The vet will not approve the medication, because the vet who saw her no longer works there. Therefore, I have to bring my cat in again, pay for ANOTHER well check, and then they'll approve the dewormer. It is not my fault that the vet no longer works there. I should not have to pay AGAIN for another, redundant well check for a healthy cat in order to get standard, routine medicine.
