Cece was awesome! Very responsive about keeping us updated on who was still available since since we lived out of town. The shelter was clean and all the dogs and cats were healthy and happy. Highly recommend adopting from there!!!

Hands down the best animal shelter I have ever been too. Very helpful on giving us advice with the kittens and being new pet parents. They show love and care to all the animals which makes it feel like a happy home at the shelter even before adoption. I was really impressed with this shelter and intend to help with a donation every now and then! Thank you Team for helping us bring home our new family members! 🥰😻

My daughter and I help walk the dog's a couple days a week. The Humane society needs good people to adopt these adorable pet's. They needs donations so the can provide food and shelter. And people to donate there time and skills on maintaining a sheltered home for these animals!

My daughter and I were wanting to adopt a dog. We drove to Casa Grande to see what was available. When I called I informed the employee that I'm looking to adopt a dog and we've drove quite a ways. I asked when do they close? She kept saying 4 o' clock repeatable while I was still talking to see if she would let us see the dogs before they close. It was 10min to closing time. She kept saying we close at 4 with her rude voice. I dont understand, don't these shelters want great homes for the animals? This lady did not give a care in the world! Her response should've been... I'm sorry we close at 4pm but we are open tomorrow from whatever time...instead she rushed me off the phone and kept repeating 4pm. Will look elsewhere!

Staff is friendly and caring about all the animals in their care. We visited two bonded sisters and one week later came back to get them. They had been moved to a Tucson rescue to get more exposure. VHS staff gave us all the info to get there and we adopted them that evening. They listen to all your needs. I can't say enough good things about this facility. If you need a pet or you just want to support them, this is a worthy cause.
